Thanks to Valerie Macaluso for sending me better pictures and more information.
First, the vending sheet (size - 9 1/2' x 8 1/4') was used to sell plastic bubbles in gum machines advertising the vending plastic bubbles with either one of the flicker cards(size 1 ' x 2') or the iron patch (size 2 3/4' x 2). the flicker cards have 5 different heroes.
#1 Spiderman (on the back it reads 'Student Peter Parker accidently bitten by a radioactive spider, finds that he has miraculously attained the agility of a human spider. Now he fights crime-as the amazing Spider-man!' All the flicker cards have the hero and their secret identity. On the card, it says 'Flick it! Watch Peter Parker become Spider-man!
#2 The Incredible Hulk 'Caught in a nuclear explosion. Dr David Banner finds himself transformed into seven feet, one thousand pounds of the most powerful creature to ever walk the earth - The Incredible Hulk.'
#3 Superman
#4 Batman
# 5 Wonder Woman
There are 6 different iron on patches made out of a felt material. 3 of Spiderman and 3 of the Hulk. On the back are instructions to iron the patch.
Normally, a vending sheet goes for $30 -$ 50. Sets of flicker cards go for $ 10-$18 and a iron on patch set goes for $12- $20.
This vending sheet contain 8 (lenticular) 3D flicker cards of Spiderman, Superman, Incredible Hulk, Wonder Woman, and Batman. One shows the mild mannered person, while the other shows the SUPERHERO.
Also, Iron On Patches of Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk. The sheet was in the vending machine outside many grocery stories in 1979.
This is a great piece and one which brings back fond memories.
